Iceberg provides a source of high purity water to the people in Bonavista, NF. They make beer and wine with the water. It takes two to three years for an iceberg to flow from the Arctic to NF. Each iceberg has hundreds to thousands years of history, our tour guide said.

Don’t know where the hard working Maberly people have gone. Their food storage shelters (caves) are still there.

If you have a boat, and would like to have a summer cottage (for 6 weeks yearly), you may like to consider this quiet town (Trinity) in the east coast of Newfoundland. (First 30 photos were taken at Clarenville).

It was great when Terry Fox ran to Fort McMurray, Alberta. The population there was so excited to see him. Today, I went to see his Mile Zero location. I am proud of him, and of his spirit.

Jelly bean house refers to colorful building. They are common in the Maritime provinces of Canada, I think. I saw them in Peggys Cove; I saw them in downtown St. John’s. I would imagine how they look like when their roofs are covered by a layer of white snow.
